Terms of Service
By accessing or using any part of Esports Hub, including the Discord server and the web portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where reasonable, by posting an in-app notice or sending a notification to your Discord direct messages. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not accept a material change, your remedy is to stop using the service before the change takes effect.
Description of Service
Esports Hub is an esports community centered around a Discord server, supported by a web portal that provides tools for teams, organizations, and individuals in the esports industry. Features include Discord role creation, team social media posting, AI-assisted workflows, a resume builder, custom Discord bots, esports contract templates, custom website services, a community rewards program, an affiliate program, a background removal tool, premium subscriptions, and a store for purchasing services. The web portal is available to verified members of the Esports Hub Discord server.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Esports Hub, or older if required by the laws of your jurisdiction. To use the Esports Hub web portal, you must also be a member of the Esports Hub Discord server and authenticate through our sign-in process. Access to certain features may be restricted based on your server roles or membership status. We reserve the right to deny or revoke access at our discretion.
Server Verification
All members must complete verification through the Esports Hub website to access the Discord server. By completing verification, you consent to the collection of device and network identifiers for safety and ban-evasion purposes. The full list of data collected, how long each category is retained, and how to request deletion are set out in our Privacy Policy, which covers the 90-day automatic redaction of raw PII (IP address, user-agent, ISP), the retention rules for redacted verification records, and the pseudonymisation that applies to banned-fingerprint records when you submit a deletion request via the /privacy Discord command or the Privacy tab in Settings.
Attempting to bypass verification, circumvent a ban, or evade detection through alternate accounts, VPNs, virtual machines, or any other technical means is a material violation of these terms and will result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform. We do not sell verification data or share it with third parties for marketing or analytics. Limited sharing with anti-abuse providers (such as a third-party VPN and proxy risk service that receives only your IP address and returns a risk score, country, and ISP) is described in the Privacy Policy.
User Conduct
Your use of Esports Hub, across both the Discord server and the web portal, is subject to these terms. You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable terms.
- Submit false, misleading, or inappropriate content through the platform.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its underlying systems.
- Abuse, harass, or impersonate other users or organizations.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the service without permission.
Community Rules
Alongside the conduct standards above, every member of the Esports Hub Discord server must follow the community rules below. These are the same rules posted in the server, set out here in full. Most breaches result in one strike; three strikes lead to a permanent ban, and severe violations can result in an immediate ban without prior strikes. Staff enforce these rules at their reasonable discretion, and enforcement decisions such as timeouts, kicks, and bans are final unless reversed on appeal, where an appeal is offered. Some removals set out elsewhere in these terms, such as those under Platform Protection, carry no appeal.
- Discrimination. No discrimination, slurs, or hateful conduct based on race, ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, gender, gender identity, disability, religion, age, or body type. This applies to messages, nicknames, reactions, and any other content.
- Spamming. No mass or repeated messages, reactions, pings, or emoji floods, and no posting the same content across multiple channels. Disruptive spam is timed out automatically, and repeat offenders are permanently banned.
- Threats and harassment. No threats of violence, targeted harassment, stalking, or jokes about self-harm or suicide. Encouraging anyone to hurt themselves or others is treated as a severe violation.
- Inappropriate media. No gore, real-world violence, sexual or pornographic content, animal cruelty, hate imagery, or shock material. Any sexual content involving minors results in an immediate ban and is reported to Discord and, where appropriate, the authorities.
- Doxxing. Do not share, threaten to share, or ask for another person's private or identifying information, including real names, addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, or private accounts, without their clear consent.
- Discord Terms and age. You must follow the Discord Terms of Service and be at least 13 years old, or older where your local law requires. Misrepresenting your age is a permanent ban. If you believe a member is underage, report it to staff privately.
- Inappropriate avatars and names. Profile pictures, banners, usernames, and nicknames may not contain offensive, NSFW, hateful, or slur-based content, and may not impersonate another person, a staff member, an organization, or a brand.
- Forum posts. Posts in the recruitment and community forums must be detailed, genuine, and on-topic. Low-effort, duplicate, or off-topic posts are removed, and repeated low-effort posting can cost you posting access.
- No money requests. No begging or soliciting donations, loans, handouts, or free in-game items, and no pressuring members for money or goods.
- No gambling content. No promotion of betting, casinos, sportsbooks, lotteries, or skin and loot-box gambling, including referral links and affiliate codes.
- Cheating and exploits. No promoting, selling, sharing, requesting, or linking cheats, hacks, aimbots, modded clients, or competitive exploits for any game.
- No religious discussion. Members hold a wide range of beliefs. Keep religious debate and proselytizing out of the public channels to avoid unnecessary friction.
- No political discussion. This is an esports community. Keep partisan debate, campaigning, and divisive political topics out of the public channels.
- No drama. No team, organization, or interpersonal callouts, vent posts, or public disputes, whether they start here or elsewhere. Resolve conflicts privately or bring them to staff.
- No backseat moderation. Leave enforcement to staff. If you see a rule being broken, report it privately rather than policing it yourself or escalating in public.
- English only. Messages in the public channels must be in English so staff can moderate effectively and everyone can take part.
- Invite links. No Discord invite links or unsolicited ads for other servers in the community channels. Promoting your own organization is allowed in the designated promotional spaces, as set out under Promotional Posts below.
- Scamming. No fake vouches, undelivered services, chargeback abuse, impersonation, phishing, fake giveaways, bait-and-switch offers, multi-level marketing, or use of stolen or trademarked brand assets. Scamming is a severe violation and can result in an immediate ban.
- Multi-accounting and ban evasion. One Discord account per person. Alternate accounts used to evade moderation, inflate invites or rewards, or return after a ban will be banned along with every linked account.
- AI misuse. Do not use AI to impersonate real people, fabricate quotes, messages, or screenshots, or pass off generated work as genuine where authenticity matters. Deepfakes of real people are not permitted.
- Esports Hub branding. Our name, logo, and brand assets are our exclusive property. Do not modify them, claim ownership, imply affiliation or endorsement, or use them in a misleading or negative way. See our brand guidelines.
- Verification. You must complete verification to access the server. Bypassing or attempting to circumvent verification violates these terms and can result in removal.
These community rules operate alongside the rest of these terms. Where a rule overlaps with a clause above, both apply. Repeated or severe breaches can also lead to revocation of web portal access and the forfeiture described in the Termination section.
Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any logos, images, or content you upload to the service. By uploading content, you grant Esports Hub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (only to the extent necessary for technical processing such as resizing or format conversion), display, and distribute that content within the platform, solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. The licence lasts for as long as the content remains on our systems and ends when you delete the content or close your account, except to the extent we need to retain copies for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or operational backups. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use your uploaded content for marketing, advertising, or any purpose outside operating the platform without your prior written consent.
Platform Protection
The Esports Hub platform, including the Discord server, website, web portal, branding, written copy, design, role architecture, bots, automations, and internal tools, is the exclusive intellectual property of Esports Hub. All components are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, clone, replicate, mirror, scrape, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of Esports Hub, whether in whole or in substantial part, without prior written permission. This restriction applies equally to commercial and non-commercial use, and covers the following categories of activity:
- Reproducing the Discord server's channel structure, role hierarchy, or category layout in another community.
- Replicating our website design, page layouts, written copy, branding, or overall visual identity.
- Recreating the verification system, bots, automations, embeds, commands, or operational workflows.
- Reusing contract templates, resume builder layouts, or other content generated through the platform outside of Esports Hub.
- Operating a competing community, product, or service whose look, feel, or functionality materially imitates Esports Hub.
Violations result in immediate and permanent removal from the Discord server, revocation of verification, and termination of access to the web portal and all associated paid services. No notice, refund, or appeal will be provided for accounts terminated under this policy. Esports Hub further reserves the right to pursue any legal remedies available under applicable law, including injunctive relief and damages.
Platform Integrations
Esports Hub integrates with third-party platforms to create roles, manage server permissions, and post content on your behalf. Actions performed through the web portal are carried out within the Esports Hub Discord server and are subject to the respective platform's terms and community guidelines.
AI-Powered Features
The Esports Hub web portal uses AI to assist with workflows. AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate. We do not guarantee the correctness of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing any output before it is finalized or posted.
Contract Templates
Esports Hub offers contract templates designed for use within the esports industry. These templates are drafted by individuals with formal legal education and esports industry experience. However, Esports Hub is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The templates are provided as general-purpose documents and may not account for the specific laws, regulations, or circumstances applicable to your situation.
By purchasing or using any contract template, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Contract templates are provided "as is" and are intended as starting points, not finished legal documents.
- Esports Hub does not guarantee that any template is legally enforceable in your jurisdiction.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, customizing, and ensuring the suitability of any contract before use.
- We strongly recommend having any contract reviewed by a licensed attorney before signing or relying on it.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Esports Hub accepts no liability for any loss, dispute, or legal issue arising from the use of our contract templates.
Rewards & Redeemed Rewards
Esports Hub offers a rewards program where members can earn points through community participation and redeem them for rewards. By participating in the rewards program, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Reward fulfillment can take 60 days or more from the date of redemption, depending on the reward type and supplier availability. Some rewards take longer due to factors outside our control such as supplier delays, shipping, or customs processing.
- Paid orders are prioritized over points redemptions, so a service redeemed with points may take longer to be completed than the same service purchased directly.
- Points and rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside of the platform.
- Roles purchased or redeemed with points or store credit are tied to the account that bought them and cannot be transferred, reassigned, or moved to another user once purchased.
- Each role must be created under the category that matches its type. If you use a Custom Role, whether purchased or redeemed with points or store credit, to create a role that belongs to a different category (for example, an organization, business, or agency role), the role will be deleted and the points, store credit, or payment used will be forfeited and not refunded. Always create a role under its correct category to avoid this.
- Esports Hub reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the rewards program, adjust point values, or change available rewards at any time without prior notice.
- Abuse of the rewards system, including but not limited to exploiting bugs, using automated tools, or manipulating task completions, may result in forfeiture of points and suspension of access.
Gift Cards
Esports Hub gift cards are prepaid store credit. By buying or redeeming a gift card, you acknowledge and agree that:
- A gift card is bought for a fixed amount, from $5 to $500, with real money only. It cannot be purchased using existing store credit, reward points, or another gift card.
- Each gift card is a single, one-time code. When redeemed, its full value is added to the redeeming account as store credit. A code can only be redeemed once and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- The code can be delivered to a recipient by email or Discord direct message, or kept and shared by the buyer. Whoever holds the code can redeem it, so treat it like cash. We are not responsible for codes that are lost, shared, or used by someone other than the intended recipient.
- Store credit redeemed from a gift card never expires. It is applied automatically toward eligible store purchases at checkout, has no cash value otherwise, and is tied to the account it was redeemed on. It cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
- Store credit applies only to eligible store purchases. It cannot be used on partnerships, apparel, or contracts, and it does not apply to subscriptions or gift card purchases.
- Gift card purchases are subject to our Refund Policy. Because the code is delivered as soon as the purchase completes, a gift card is non-refundable once its code has been issued, and store credit cannot be converted back into a cash refund.
- If your account is terminated for violating these Terms or the server rules, any unredeemed gift card value and store credit balance is forfeited without refund.
Affiliate Program
Esports Hub offers an affiliate program that allows members to earn commissions by referring new customers. By participating in the affiliate program, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Affiliates earn a 20% commission on qualifying purchases made by referred users within 30 days of the referral link being clicked.
- Commissions are earned only on the first payment of a subscription, not on recurring renewals. One-time purchases (such as store items, contracts, and website services) are eligible for commission.
- Commissions are not earned on orders fully covered by store credit, as no revenue is collected on those transactions.
- Referring yourself is not permitted. Any attempt to earn commission on your own purchases will be blocked and may result in removal from the program.
- Payouts require a minimum balance of $25 USD and are subject to admin review and approval before being processed.
- Payouts can be requested via PayPal or bank transfer. PayPal payouts are processed automatically upon approval. Bank transfers are processed manually by an administrator and typically clear within 5 to 10 business days of approval, subject to your bank's processing times.
- Only one payout request may be pending at a time.
- Esports Hub reserves the right to deactivate any affiliate profile, revoke commissions, or deny payouts in cases of fraud, abuse, or manipulation of the program.
- Esports Hub may modify commission rates, payout thresholds, attribution windows, or other program terms at any time without prior notice.
- Affiliate commissions have no cash value until a payout is approved and processed. Pending balances do not constitute a debt or obligation.
Giveaways
Esports Hub may host giveaways from time to time for community members. By entering or participating in any giveaway, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Giveaway prizes can take 60 days or more to be delivered from the date the winner is announced. Larger or international prizes take longer due to logistics, shipping, or customs processing outside our control.
- Winners must respond to any claim notification within 7 days or the prize may be forfeited and re-drawn.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or store credit unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Esports Hub reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is found to be using multiple accounts, bots, or any other method to gain an unfair advantage.
- Esports Hub reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend any giveaway at any time without prior notice.
- Eligibility requirements (such as minimum account age, server membership duration, or role requirements) may apply and will be specified in the giveaway announcement.
- Esports Hub is not responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees associated with receiving a prize. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable tax obligations.
Promotional Posts
Where the platform lets you post promotional content, such as through a partnership, a promo-post purchase, or a designated promotion channel, only the post types below are permitted. We may still remove or decline any post that breaks the server rules, is misleading, or targets another community in bad faith. Post types marked subject to review are checked by our team before they go live.
| Post type | Status |
|---|---|
| Team announcements | Allowed |
| Roster announcements | Allowed |
| Sponsor announcements | Allowed |
| General server promotion | Allowed |
| Social media account promotion | Allowed, subject to review |
| Giveaways | Not allowed |
Giveaways are not permitted as promotional posts. This does not affect official Esports Hub giveaways, which we run ourselves and which are governed by the Giveaways section above.
Regardless of post type, the following are never allowed in any promotional post. A violation can result in the post being removed and the requester losing access to promotional posting:
- Gambling or betting of any kind, including casinos, sportsbooks, and skin or loot-box gambling.
- Cheats, hacks, exploits, or anything that breaks a game's terms of service.
- Buying, selling, or boosting accounts, and real-money trading of in-game items or currency.
- Adult or sexually explicit content, including adult creators and sites.
- Scams and get-rich-quick schemes, including pyramid or MLM offers, fake giveaways, and phishing.
- Cryptocurrency, NFT, or token promotion, including coin launches, mints, and presale hype.
- Illegal goods or services, including drugs, weapons, and counterfeit or stolen items.
- Pirated games or software, key resellers, malware, and unsafe downloads or links.
- Hateful, harassing, violent, or extremist content, or anything targeting a person or group.
- Phishing or impersonation, including posing as Esports Hub, our staff, or another brand, and fake claim or login links.
- Promoting a competing community or platform to draw members away from Esports Hub. Promoting your own organization's server is fine.
- Unsolicited mass direct messaging, or repeatedly posting the same promotion as spam.
- Competing paid services that overlap with the Esports Hub store, such as rival website, Discord bot, or contract-template services.
- Anything else that is illegal, unsafe, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate, as determined by Esports Hub staff.
Custom Discord Bot
The Pro Discord bot and any custom bot service is provided for use in your own Discord server. You are responsible for the security and administration of that server, including its roles, permissions, and moderation. If you lose access to your server or its setup for any reason, such as the server being nuked, deleted, raided, or its ownership changing, it is not our responsibility to help you regain access, rebuild the server, or restore the bot's configuration. We are not liable for any loss that results from how your server is managed.
Custom Website Services
The price of a custom website covers the build and delivery of a deployed, managed site only. We do not provide, hand over, sell, or license the underlying source code, and you do not receive ownership of the codebase. The build price does not include a domain name or hosting. Because we build and manage the site and do not hand over the source code, hosting is provided by us: a one-time $20 for life with no recurring fees, unless your site receives large amounts of traffic, in which case additional hosting costs may apply and we will discuss them with you before charging anything further. We do not provide, register, sell, or pay for domain names. If you want a custom domain you must purchase it and keep it renewed yourself; we will only help you connect a domain you already own. Any domain fees are charged by those third-party providers, are your responsibility, and are separate from the price you pay us.
Brand Purchases
A brand listed for sale on Esports Hub is a complete logo identity, which may include a logo, wordmark, and color palette, sold as a one-time purchase. Each listed brand is exclusive: it is sold a single time and taken off sale once purchased, and we do not knowingly resell, relist, or reuse the same brand for another customer afterward. Browsing previews on the brands page does not reserve a brand; a brand is only secured once payment is completed. Preview images shown on the site are watermarked and are not the deliverable.
Brand purchases are arranged through a Discord ticket, and payment is taken before any source files or rights are transferred. Once you have paid in full, we transfer that brand to you: we hand over the agreed source files (such as the vector logo, fonts where we are permitted to share them, and color codes) and assign to you the rights we hold in the delivered artwork so you can use it as your own. Fonts and any third-party assets remain subject to their own licenses, and it is your responsibility to license fonts or stock assets where required for your intended use.
We create brand artwork to be original to the best of our knowledge, but we do not perform trademark searches and do not guarantee that a brand is available for trademark registration or free of conflicting marks in your country or industry. Before adopting a brand commercially, you are responsible for clearing it, including any trademark, business name, or domain checks, for your jurisdiction and intended use. After handover the brand is provided as is, and you are responsible for how you use it.
Brand Commissions
You can commission a new brand built from scratch. Commissions are scoped and quoted in a Discord ticket before work begins, covering what is delivered, the number of revisions, the timeline, and the price. A commission may require a deposit or full payment up front as agreed in the ticket. Ownership and rights in the final commissioned brand transfer to you once the work is completed and paid for in full, on the same basis as a brand purchase above.
Until a commission is paid in full, drafts, concepts, and work in progress remain our property and may not be used. Refund treatment for brand purchases and commissions is set out in the Refund Policy.
Premium & Lifetime Plans
Premium subscriptions and lifetime plans are tied to the account that purchased them. They are personal to that account and cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, or otherwise moved to another account or person once purchased. This applies even if you lose access to your account or are suspended or banned from the Esports Hub Discord. We do not migrate, reissue, or restore paid access on a different account, and losing access in this way does not entitle you to a refund. Refund treatment for these plans is set out in the Refund Policy.
Some services are included with a plan rather than bought on their own, such as the Discord server setup that comes free with Premium and Lifetime, or a website provided as a plan or partnership benefit. These included services are not prioritized: orders bought directly are completed first, so a member who purchases a server setup or website on its own will usually have it delivered sooner than one who claims the same service as a plan benefit. If you want an included service finished faster, you can pay an expedited fee to move it ahead in the queue.
Service Availability
We aim to keep Esports Hub available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any downtime, service interruption, or loss of data, except where a non-waivable consumer guarantee applies.
Disclaimer
Esports Hub provides its services, including contract templates, AI-generated content, and community tools, on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all warranties, whether express or implied, are disclaimed, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data accuracy, the legal enforceability of contract templates, or the correctness of AI-generated content.
Esports Hub is not a law firm, and nothing on this platform constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice. We are not responsible for any losses, disputes, or legal issues arising from service outages, data loss, or reliance on information, documents, or content provided through the platform. Where local law does not permit the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability, those limitations apply only to the extent permitted.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Esports Hub is operated from Brisbane, Australia. These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of Queensland. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the use of the service is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia, and the Federal Court of Australia.
Where you are an Australian consumer, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and other Australian consumer-protection legislation are not affected by these terms. Where you are a consumer in another jurisdiction, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence may grant you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts notwithstanding this clause.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, and we may remove you from the Discord server, revoke web portal access, cancel active subscriptions, or apply any combination of these actions.
If we terminate a paid subscription without cause (meaning, not in connection with a violation of these terms, the server rules, or any other platform policy), we will refund any amount you have paid for the unused portion of the current billing period on a pro-rated basis. This pro-rated refund obligation does not apply where termination is based on a violation, where the subscription is a lifetime plan, or where the user has already exhausted their statutory right of withdrawal.
Accounts terminated for violating these terms, the server rules, or any other policy that governs the platform forfeit all unused store credit, pending rewards, affiliate commissions not yet paid out, and access to any purchased service or active subscription. No refund will be issued for one-time purchases, recurring subscription payments, store credit, or service work in progress, regardless of completion status. This applies to every paid offering, including custom roles, server setup, custom websites, custom Discord bots, contract templates, social media management, partnerships, premium subscriptions, and any other product or service made available through Esports Hub.
Where local law grants you a non-waivable right to a refund or remedy, we will honor that right to the extent legally required. This section operates alongside, and does not override, our standard Refund Policy, which governs refund requests outside of a termination event.
